Simone has been a passionate diver for over 20 years and is an award winning underwater photographer. He previously worked for 18-years as a senior marketing manager in a big international corporation based in both Europe and Dubai. Simone decided to leave office life behind and turn his long-term diving passion into his everyday work at Sundive. Over the last 12 years in Dubai, Simone spent the majority of his spare time and holidays diving around the world and photographing many unique destinations. His photography has regularly featured on the cover of the UAE's 'Divers for the Environment' magazine. Simone's photographs have also been widely published and awarded in multiple international photography competitions. Simone's mission is to make Sundive, Byron Bay and Nguthungulli Julian Rocks a go-to dive provider and destination for local and international underwater photographers alike. Simone intends to form a local dive and photography community supported with coaching, workshops and dedicated photography activities.
